Suranya has been our nanny for 8 months and has been of great help during her time with us. First and foremost, she is very punctual and always makes sure to arrive 15 minutes before her starting time (usually 7am) in order to change and be ready for her day. As a multilingual family, our main purpose was to hire a nanny who would onlycommunicate in Thai with our daughter following the one person one language concept. Suranya was mainly on board with this and did her very best to only speak Thai with our daughter. She made sure to interact with many people in our condo when taking our baby out on a walk; and passed that sociability onto our daughter. Suranya's level of English is decent and we never had any major communication issues. If anything I did enjoy many pleasant conversations with her pretty much on a daily basis. Because she has worked with children for so many years, she is really keen on sharing her techniques and ways of taking care of them, but she did also take our remarks on board. Suranya is full of little attention and takes great pleasure in sharing about her culture, notably about food, she treated me many times with delicacies from our local market and I found these interactions to be very enriching. She also put a lot of effort into multitasking and doing some housework even though this was not her main duty. Finally, Suranya is always available to work extra time when asked to.
